_________________________________________ Invitation letter from Sacinandana Swami:
Dear devotees, dear friends Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
It is my special pleasure to invite you again to our yearly Japa and Kirtan retreat in Radhadesh.
All of us have experienced how environment and atmosphere can influence our chanting significantly. In a strong devotional atmosphere we feel uplifted and empowered and in a non-devotional atmosphere often disturbed. This year we will learn to chant in an Vrindavan atmosphere.
In Srila Rupa Goswami's guidebook "Nectar of Instruction" he mentions
that the essence of all spiritual advice consists of absorbing oneself
into the name and personality of the Lord while residing in the
atmosphere of Vrindavan. (Text 8)

Interview with Arcana-siddhi about the Online Bhakti Shastri course
What made you join spiritual movement thirty-six years ago?
I had an existential crisis. I couldn’t see the point of living a meaningless life, so I began to search for answers to my burning questions: “What is the purpose to existence? Is death liberation from material suffering, and if so is suicide a short cut?” My search ended after meeting the devotees. Everything resonated—the philosophy, the way of life, the prasada, the devotees. I dropped out of graduate school and moved into the asrama.
When did you start to write for Back to Godhead magazine, and how has your writing matured since then?
I started writing for BTG in 1998. I felt the magazine needed more
articles demonstrating the practical application of our philosophy in
our everyday life, especially for those living outside temples. I feel
my that writing has naturally matured with increased life experience
and a maturation of my spiritual realizations.

Each philosophy is analyzed in terms of its basic perspective and categories, with the help of selected original texts in translation. The course provides tools for informed comparative studies and a broader grasp of the basis of traditional Vaishnava philosophy.

Bhaktivedanta College Students Represent ISKCON at Assisi Interfaith Events
Saint Francis of Assisi, a spiritual leader renowned for centuries, established the Franciscan order in the Catholic tradition. He is not so well known for creating the first interfaith event of the Catholic Church. In memory of his worthy efforts, various Catholic institutions commemorate his initiatives at interreligious dialogue with a grand interfaith event. Recently, Bhaktivedanta College students were invited, through the Radhadesh communications department, to represent ISKCON at two Assisi memorial interfaith events in Belgium.
