ISKCON members about Bhaktivedanta College
Kadamba Kanana Swami: The academic field is huge, but until now we have only scratched the surface. Without fear or shyness we should enter that area and present ourselves as we are. Some academics have studied us or our tradition and scriptures in great depth, and surely we can learn from them. Still, they miss the main point that Krishna is the very same God that people at all times and in all cultures of the world have searched for and worshiped. Only unalloyed surrender to Him can satisfy the self. We have, therefore, a great task in front of us, namely, to establish the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and those of Srila Prabhupada as the deepest and most complete understanding of the Absolute Truth. This is where the Bhaktivedanta College can play a vital part.

New Graduate Certficate in Theology

The License program is unique to Lampeter and is one of their most long-standing awards. It is also known as a "Graduate Certificate". This certificate is conferred upon completion of the third and final year of the undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in Theology.

Entrance into the License program is restricted to persons who have already completed a bachelor's degree in another discipline. It is most often used to prepare graduates of another discipline for post-graduate work in Theology. The License program, however, also provides a unique opportunity for students to enrich and broaden the skills and knowledge they have already acquired in their previous undergraduate study. Credits earned in this program cannot be applied toward a Bachelor's degree.

Accredited education offered at Bhaktivedanta College

This academic year, Bhaktivedanta College has twenty-seven students from twenty countries.

Bhaktivedanta College opened in September 2002 and offers a systematic, accredited education leading to a Bachelor of Theology degree.

Experience shows that most of the applicants come from countries with low incomes. For them, it is difficult and almost impossible to cover the student fees for tuition and room and board. Therefore we ask you to kindly consider a scholarship, either full or partial, whatever amount is within your capacity. Any contribution will be highly welcomed. Those in need will be grateful to you.
